Well I spent most of yesterday on three things.

1. My "Save the Date" cards for my wedding
2. Getting the art up with Chapter and artists listed for teh Hp-Art-Project
3. And Working on the "Misc" section of my webpage.

The Save the Date cards are so far a minor disaster, but Brandon made some helpful suggestions that hopefully save the day, no pun intended. I think I'm just so frazzled, and being wedding art, it's a bit more pressure than usual I guess. Brandon saw the obvious solution.

The art I've gotten for the Hp_Art_project is now up on my scrap book, thanks to [info]waccawheels who paid for me to have a paiid acount again so I could access the scrapbook. I figured the *least* I could do to show my huge thanks is get the art up and get it up right. There are still a few pieces giving me technical difficulties, but hopefully I can sort it out this week.

The webpage for the all the misc. art that I do Fanworks, is still a ways off from being finished (as you can tell) BUT I did get The A-Team section mostly finnished. So yay for that. That was the major section I wanted done . . . aside from the Dark Tower section (which will be under books)

So yup, that's where my Sunday went. Saturday went to reading to the Avengers. I blame Chrissy.

Also, hugs and kisses to Brandon, who I hope has a less tiring week!

Aw shoot
I'm in a terrible awful mood tonight and I don't know why.
(Ok I do know why too much to do, too little time, I feel stabbed in the back at work and OMG there's so much to do for the Hp-Art-project, I goofed big, and even though the person who understanding I'm still irked at myself and all of this just overwhelms me so I'm irritated)

This A-Team music Video however, brightens my mood.

YES!! This is *EXACTLY* what the A-Team is about!!
*love*

Ugh, the worse thing about a sick day is the inability to fully enjoy the day off.
I can't really concentrate on artwork or writing and I don't want to watch TV.

I did however catch up on some Hp-Art-Project stuff. Now I just need to update the website and get the project_editor stuff more underway.
*wibble*

I want to do some icons, but again, the general stomach ick is making it hard to concentrate or care.

I watched some Youtube stuffs and now feel the need to a PSA:

Dear people making fantasy A-Team trailers.
STOP CASTING TOM CRUISE AS FACE
Cast anyone else, I don't care. Cast Steve Buscemi or even Katee Sackhoff, but NOT Tom Cruise.
I have no words for the amount of wrong Tom Cruise is as Face *twitch*.

On the other hand, ok, to the one person whose filmed moments of Nicolas Cage as Murdock. you have actually presented a decent argument as to why Cage could be considered for the role of Murdock. I'd never have thought it, but it did work. At least those collections of non spoken 3 second video clips worked.
OMG SQuee!
YES YES YES!!!!

Oh thank you god of ironic TV guest appearances that cater to my sense of humor.
Ok I doubt there is such a god, and I'm monotheistic anyway, but still.

Dirk Benedict just PWned Dean Stockwell in an A-team episode.
Ohhh I'm so amused. I was hoping against hope that when the A-Team paired off against the baddies Benedict would be paired off with Stockwell AND HE WAS!!!!

But ARGHHH I can't screen cap it!
There is this GREAT picture of Face in paramilitary garb with Dean's character totally tied up and beaten and I want to cap it and have it say "Not in you show, but PWNing your cylons anyway"

OMG! That would amuse SO much as an icon.

And for those of you sitting there going wtf Ani, are you talking about.
Dean Stockwell is the Cylon Cavill. And of course Dirk Benedict was the original Starbuck. So the old show Starbuck pwned a new show Cylon! *LOL*

Did I mention my sense of humor is odd?
Things like that do amuse me.

So I WAS AMUSED.

It is now second only in Guest Star funny to The A-Team pwning Lance Henriksen
I love Lance so this will always be my favorite guest star moment.

Show Endings

[info]pinkfinity asked:

How do you want your favorite series to end? What do you want to see in the last episode, the last scene, the last frame even? Marriage, death, babies? Rocket ships, Armageddon, a sunset or a sunrise? What's the dialogue, who are the characters, and is there a happily ever after? Or do you want it to be rocks fall; everyone dies?

I want to answer except . . .
All my favorite shows have ended! (Well, not House or Gossip Girl, but I don’t have any ending I want honestly).

So let’s talk about show I like and my reaction to the ending of Babylon 5, Millennium, A-team, and Battlestar Galactica )

Ok I ahve to ask.

I've not read TRwilight. In fact I've not heard of it outside Makani's comments and the linked places about the net. neither had any of my friends.
This either means my friends and I have good taste or we are old. I'm gonna go with option A.

ANYWAY
What occurred tome though, just now, was this.

If Harry Potter had been a girl, would we all have screamed MARY SUE and forsworn the Potter books? I think there was a conferences essay on this once.
Shoulda gone to it.

Oh also related, it also occurred to me that in the A-Team movie there is no way they can make Face a girl because the feminist would go nuts.
Seriously. Would Face not be the most stereotypical annoying female caricature ever?
Ok, well I think so. I think, as a girl, he'd be everything I *don't* want to see the one woman in the group shown as =P (I covered this in the A-Team community, but what the heck it can go here too)

Answers to Unpopular Fandom Opinion Meme

Doomed
Well I only got one request, from [info]insomniel who suggested Violinist of Hameln

1. The anime ending is better.
Despite thinking the manga is generally (Sizer's arc, Vocal and Orgel, Flute saving Lute, etc) especially in concern to Hamel and Flute, I much prefer the anime ending. In fact it was the tragedy of that ending that pushed the show from being "just another anime" to all time fave. I'd never seen anything in a anime cartoon that really moved me like what Flute had to do.

Then the manga end like 6 years later.
*head desk* I don't hate it but I felt it was totally mundane and predictable and lacking impact for me. Overlong typical shonen fight ending in yays and lolz. It didn't do anything for me. It was just. . . the end.
I rather thuught comapred to the anime and compared to some of the earlier arcs in the manga even, it was a let down.

Now I don't deny the anime 'rapes' the manga canon. But in the case of this severa change, it works, and honestly, without the anime VoH would have been just another enjoy it then leave it manga series for me I think. ^^;;;

2.I'm not jazzed about the new series.
I was jazzed about the short story. I one shot short story was awesome.
But a sequel? *shrugs* It hasn't grabbed me yet.
Part of my issue is I can not stand Watanabe's current art style. I didn't like it in VoH either but as it mostly just existed as it is now in the last two maybe three volumes, I could deal. Plus I loved the characters too much to let art style changes come between us.

But now? It is really making it hard for me. Aside from needing to figure out why I should care about Hamel's kids, and feeling the story is less interesting than the original, there is this art style that just does not work for me. So one shot was cute, but I'm not feeling the love for the new series much.

Ok, I know, no one asked but
