A/N: I think I borrowed from just about everything I've ever seen to get this to work. Hopefully it does :)
Prompt: Captain America; gen/horror/adventure/wuv <3 ; Bucky tries any way possible to communicate with Steve on the other side. Things go wrong and Cap's spirit has to save Buck's soul from a fate worse than death.
Summary: Seriously, you'd think people in fictional stories would know better than to touch ouija boards.

Listening to the two friends brought Bucky's memory back to the war and the down time he and Steve had spent together between battles, just being young.

Prompt: "Prompt 2: Young Avengers/Captain America, Hurt/Comfort; a training injury ruins Kate's Halloween plans, so Bucky brings Halloween to her. I'd like Bucky/Kate in a pre-existing relationship. Horror movie snark is always a plus, too. :)
Summary: The Young Avengers are all set to go out for Halloween, when Bucky points out Kate can't and they are not going to exclude her. Nobody argues with Bucky.

I wanted to find someway to get Tony in the Batman Costume but he dind't want to wear it. Then Steve found a way.

Just some fun little things I did at the Star Wars Fan Days Convention last weekend. I also drew Spiderman and Mar Jane for a three year old (yes the three year old wanted Mary Jane. Granted he wanted the Green Goblin more, but I lacked a reference for that, and he informed me that I needed to draw Harry) Then I drew Batman for one of his cousins.

Funny story on that same three year old who knew Harry Osborn became the Green Goblin, kijikun was in her Robin shirt and he looked at her and said: "That's a Red Shirt . . A letter! ROBIN!!"
Three years old. It was awesome.

	Old School Fan Boy I like the idea that Ultimate Steve is a sci-fi geek and took part in all the old school fan stuffs of the 30's =P
	Convertin Bucky This is how you get a teenage boy to watch Star Wars, yes? =P

I'd mentioned Bucky would make a good Green Lantern. She agreed.
Then shoved an art bunny my way by wondering what his Green Lantern outfit would look like.
So really she made me draw this.

Here are the two sketches I did while waiting for the doctor to come into my room.
No *not* in the waiting room, in the room already, looked at by a nurse, waiting for a doctor.

Yeah, took over an hour.
So I passed the time writing fics that have been killed in infancy and then doodled Jason Todd, who expresses what I wanted to do, then tried to design a "grown up" costume for Toro.
I use the words "grown up" loosely.

I took a small sketch book with me to comic con (5X 7-ish, smaller = lighter in my bag) because I knew I'd want to sketch while waiting in lines and such.

Torch called Toro "Diapers."
That's one of those things that I think if I use, no one will believe it is canon. *L*
50's comics btw, nice art but HOLY GOD the stories are not so good.

I think it came out really *really* well, though I now wish I'd outlined the Star on Bucky's jacket a bit better.

Yeah, that's canon. Falls under things that don't mean what they used to mean, bt Marvel still uses it.

I intended to do a modern version of Toro taking that label into mind, but I ended up with drawing a "photo" (hey the had color back then, but rarely) he might have sent to Bucky in the 40's (though only if they both knew it could be hidden, given the realities of the era >.> )

On Toro's handwriting: I can't write with with my graphics program in my canon he has troubles reading and writing. He can, but not well. I just thought his education might be spotty, all things considered, and worked that into my characterization. Funny it shows up in art before fic ^^;;

Notes It occurred to me, Star Trek XI would blow Ultimate Steve's mind. Even though he's fought real aliens, I think modern movie effects would blow his mind. You know Tony had to show this kinda technology off.

A pair of sketches inspired by kijikun and pandanoai's fanfic Storybook. In the fic, Tony and James/Winter Soldier/Buckky/pick a name are going through a storybook type land looking for Steve.

They both get cursed (of course), so Tony now has a clockwork heart he can't wind himself, and Bucky is getting younger mentally as well as physically.

Eventually Bucky can't carry Steve's shield, so Tony has to.
When I read that, I figured that can't have been easy to get him to agree with, so I did these sketches.

This is an illustration from pandanoai's and kijikun's fic "Storybook." It's based on a scene from the end of chapter 3. just *adored* it. It made me laugh out loud, and I had to draw it. I've actually been sitting on the sketch for a long while and finally got a chance to finish painting it.


I'm hoping that this doesn't add to the current fandom bitterness.
Seriously, if anyon wants to know why I illustrated this fic over others ASK.

But the short answer is
